Public Fibre Fights Black Friday
A longtime partner of ours, Public Fibre decided to take on the huge overconsumption that occurs on Black Friday by changing their entire e-commerce platform to sell polluting and toxic items found in our oceans. As well as amplifying this creative fix to raise money for charity, we created and managed their paid social infrastructure and ads on an ongoing basis.
We advised on the communications strategy for Buy More Rubbish from the start of the campaign and helped build subtle suggestions and tweaks to give the campaign an extra bit of purpose. We then identified media across the advertising, culture and fashion sectors to sell the story in to.
We made sure Public Fibre received the high-speed campaign they deserved. We earnt legacy coverage with the likes of Hypebeast, Hypebae plus fashion trade titles such as Drapers. The campaign has been nominated for several Drum awards thanks to our success. We achieved 178 million impressions from our PR outreach with approx. £15,000 raised for The Ocean Cleanup.
